VoteTrack OR is a volunteer effort, and was built by Ben Matasar and Luke Andrews in collaboration with Our Oregon. To reach us, email info@votetrackor.com
Software developer Ben Matasar is always looking for a political project, and manages to bite off more than he can chew every election cycle. He's currently on hiatus from the Board of Directors of the Bus Project, and works on Dabble DB. You can follow him at twitter, or read his blog at blog.matasar.org.
The tedium of Canadian politics drove Luke Andrews to help design the look and feel of VoteTrackOR despite the fact that he lives in Toronto. In his day job, he's the UI designer for Dabble DB, and he also blogs at attaboy.ca and attaboy.tumblr.com.
In the age of social networking and social responsibility, VoteTrackOR is a great way to connect friends through the voting process. Search for friends and see who’s voted. Then, remind friends to vote by 'poking' them. It’s not only simple and effective at getting out the vote – it also gives you a guilt-free reason to be just a little bit nosy this election season – like you, we believe voting does matter.
